Trust the team at ACT Renovations to deliver a flawless bathroom! This bathroom renovation took the space from an all-white gloss ’90s clinical bathroom to an elegant space that oozes day spa bathroom vibes. Using our Empoli tile on all floor and walls, they created a luxurious canvas to build the bathroom on.
On the floor and main walls is our 300 x 600 Empoli tile in ‘Silver’ and the showstopper is that herringbone mosaic feature wall where they used the Empoli ‘Dust’ herringbone mosaic (also available in a chevron shape). The Empoli tile range is a dense porcelain tile available in 5 colour ways — ‘Light’, ‘Silver’, ‘Dust’, ‘Dark’ and ‘Taupe’ — in lappato or matte finish, and in a range of sizes (including 300 x 300, 300 x 600, 600 x 600 and 450 x 900).
To create a ledge by the bath, ACT Renovations built a floating shelf using one of our timber-look tiles — it brings added warmth to the space without the concern of maintaining natural timber in the bathroom. This tile was also used in the corner niche in the shower.
Dialling up the luxe factor, is the use of lighting in this space. Hidden LED strip lighting below the shelf and the cluster of glass pendant lights wash the herringbone tile in light, emphasising its beauty. LED strip lighting was also used in the shower niche and in the vanity.
Matte black tapware and black accents around the room add a pop of contrast to break up the otherwise tonal bathroom.
This bathroom is the perfect balance of warm and inviting with modern and elegant. It ignores trends and focuses on quality materials and finishes to create a space that stands the test of time.
