Modern Moroccan bathroom: Spearmint Zellige hand chiselled feature wall

A contemporary and earthy bathroom, this renovation proves you can push design boundaries in a small space.

Everything you see in this project was supplied by us so we may be a tad bias when we say it’s one of the most stunning bathrooms we’ve seen!

Let’s start by talking about the hero of the space, the feature wall of ‘Spearmint’ Zellige tiles. These tiles are wire cut by hand in Morocco and each tile is a slightly different shade, creating this patchwork-like effect that adds depth and drama.

On the floor and remaining walls, is one of our neutral 300 x 600 porcelain tiles in a soft cream colour.

The wall hung vanity with ‘Prime Oak Woodmatt’ cabinetry finish picks up on the brown tones in the Zellige tiles. Although it is only a 800mm wide vanity, its deep pull-out drawer offers ample storage. The shaving cabinet with mirrored doors and open shelf, provides additional storage and has been made using the same cabinetry finish for a seamless look.

Premium tapware by Australian brand Astra Walker has been used throughout in a brushed platinum finish. This finish offers the timeless appeal of chrome while being more muted and softer in appearance.

Under the window is one of our built-in baths. We supply a huge range of baths, including built-in, freestanding and back-to-wall baths, in many shapes and styles.

In the adjoining room is a separate toilet where the Zellige and beige tiles have also been used for continuity. The toilet is one of our in-wall toilet packages for a modern and streamline look.
